We were given: Two hands to hold. To legs to walk. Two
eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart?
Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.

Some of the greater things in life are unseen that’s
why you close your eyes when you kiss, cry, or dream…

Imperfect Perfection

Perfection

Adorable things make almost everyone happy

THIS.
This is perfect. I wish this could happen. Someone join me under my extra large hoodie, and let’s kiss for a while. Matter of fact, we don’t have to do anything under there. I’d just like to stare at you for a while, and wonder why you’re with me.

Fishies…

October 16, 2009

Have you ever seen an online aquarium? All the little fishies made of pixels swimming around aimlessly, just waiting for their pointless lives to end. I have an online aquarium, and frankly, I find it depressing. I have a cute little Cuttlefish. It swims around my tank being a F*****G emo! It’s starts off with 1000/20000 for happiness, and it’s likes and dislikes don’t overlap with any other fish. So if I change the aquarium’s settings to what the cuttlefish likes, my goldfish and hermit kitties get pissed off. WHAT THE HELL???

There. A good rant always makes me feel better = D

Rilke

October 9, 2009

Have any of you ever heard of the poetry book Rilke? It’s one of my personal favorites. I don’t own the book myself, but I read the quotes and poems online. Recently, I bought a book called Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. In it, the main character Sam had used Rilke to learn German, since that was the language it was originally written in.
The book also contained one of my favorite poems from Rilke, translated to english of course.

“Again and again, however, we know the language of love,
and the little churchyard with its lamenting names and
the staggeringly secret abyss in which others find their
end; Again and again the two of us go under the
ancient trees, make our bed again and again between
the flowers, face to face with the skies.”

This is the UK cover.

Counting Stars

-Sugarcult

Hey, I wanna crawl out of my skin
Apologize for all my sins
All the things I should have said to you
Hey, I can’t make it go away
Over and over in my brain again
All the things I should have said to you

[Chorus:]
Counting stars wishing I was okay
Crashing down was my biggest mistake
I never ever ever meant to hurt you
I only did what I had to
Counting stars again

Hey, I’ll take this day by day by day
Under the covers I’m okay I guess
Life’s too short and i feel small

[Chorus]

Counting stars again
Counting stars again
Counting stars again
Counting stars again
Counting stars again

I was listening to this song earlier today, and it made me cry ='(

Sorry

October 5, 2009

sor·ry (sr, sôr)

1. Feeling or expressing sympathy, pity, or regret
2. Worthless or inferior; paltry
3. Causing sorrow, grief, or misfortune; grievous

Sorry. We all use the word. Even when we don’t need to.
In my opinion, there are two kinds of incidents. Ones that are under your control, and ones that aren’t. I believe you should only be sorry if what happened was clearly your own fault. Say you got sick so you ha to cancel some plans. It’s not your fault you got sick, so you don’t need to feel sorry about it. One the other hand, if you got sick on purpose, like a keep-your-window-open-all-night-so-you-get-the-chills kind of sick, it is your fault so you should be sorry.

There’re are a lot of people out there that use the word sorry when they shouldn’t, and this is a message to all you people out there.

Gorillaz

October 2, 2009

I learned something in my science class today. Apparently, the reason gorillas are going extinct has to do with cell phones. There’s a landfill near the main gorilla habitat in the Congo River Basin. In this landfill, the main articles of trash are cell phones. The toxins in the cell phones, being non-biodegradable, seep into the ground and are taken up by the roots of plants. These are eaten by the gorillas and due to bioaccumulation, the toxins build up and become dangerous. If it were a strong toxin, such as one poisonous at 5 ppm, the gorilla is done for.

And so, to save the gorillas, stop buying new cell phones. Your old ones work just as well.
